Saskia A. Aalders

Saskia A. Aalders is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial technology and payments sectors. As a co-founder, CFO, and Chair of the Supervisory Board at Adson AS since January 2020, Saskia played a pivotal role in establishing a European payments institution, managing regulatory licensing, and driving financial strategy. Currently, as a Non-Executive Director at Dot, Saskia guides the strategy of a neobank focused on African markets. Previous roles include managing director at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, where Saskia led commercial growth across Europe, and a strategy consultant for Coinbase, developing commercial strategies for institutional infrastructure. With a career spanning various leadership positions, including chairing the board at Transversal and serving as VP at Verifone, Saskia has consistently driven innovation and expansion in the fintech landscape. Education includes an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Mount Holyoke College, complemented by a year abroad at Sciences Po in Paris.
