Julie Stangl has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Julie is currently the Director of Customer Experience at the Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOTComm). Prior to this, they worked as a Business Consultant at an unspecified company since 2010. Julie's previous roles include serving as the Vice President of IT and Banking Operations as well as VP of Internal Consulting, Process Engineering, and Project Management at Mutual of Omaha between 2005 and 2010. Before that, they held various executive positions at Level 3 Communications, including Vice President of Product and Channel Marketing, Vice President of Product Management, and Vice President of Finance - Investor Relations. Julie also has consulting experience from their time at Booz Allen Hamilton and held roles at GE as a Market Specialist in GE Healthcare, Internal Consultant in Corporate Audit Staff, and as part of the Financial Management Program in Aircraft Engines.
Julie Stangl completed their Bachelors of Science degree in Math from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln between 1982 and 1987. After that, they pursued their Masters of Management degree at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1993 to 1995. Their studies during their master's program focused on Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOTComm)
The Douglas-Omaha Technology Commission was created through an Interlocal Agreement in an effort to restructure all City and County technology functions under an independent Technology Commission. By merging the City of Omaha and Douglas County Information Services departments, DOTComm streamlines technology throughout the City and County, resulting in better, more cost-effective services to government agencies and taxpayers.
