Kelly Gray has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Kelly began their career in the US Army as a Soldier from 1995 to 1999. Kelly then joined Troon as an HR Coordinator from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, they joined the City of San Antonio and held roles such as HR Generalist, HR Project Manager, Special Projects Manager, and finally IT Portfolio Manager until 2013. Following this, they worked at Union Pacific Railroad as the IT PMO Manager from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are the Director of Business Operations at Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOTComm), where they previously served as the PMO Manager, and before that, as the Program Director for Business Services.
Kelly Gray holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Additionally, Kelly has obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, Kelly has pursued an Executive MBA degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, although the start and end years for this program are not specified.
Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOTComm)
The Douglas-Omaha Technology Commission was created through an Interlocal Agreement in an effort to restructure all City and County technology functions under an independent Technology Commission. By merging the City of Omaha and Douglas County Information Services departments, DOTComm streamlines technology throughout the City and County, resulting in better, more cost-effective services to government agencies and taxpayers.
