Colleen Reid

Colleen Reid is a faculty member at Douglas College since August 2009, focusing on teaching and research. Prior experience includes serving as Research Director for the Women's Health Research Network from 2007 to 2009, where Colleen collaborated with interdisciplinary researchers to develop projects, facilitate workshops, and create training resources. Colleen was also a postdoctoral researcher at Simon Fraser University from 2003 to 2007, conducting community-based research on women's employability in diverse British Columbia communities. Colleen's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Services from Simon Fraser University and multiple degrees from The University of British Columbia, including a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies in Health Promotion Research and an MA in Human Kinetics, alongside a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Queen's University.
