Steven Bishop

Steven Bishop is an experienced Learning Design Consultant at Sustainable Design Services since July 2018, specializing in industry continuing education projects related to energy efficiency and building standards. Concurrently, since July 2009, Steven has held multiple roles at Douglas College including Program Developer for Practical Energy and Advanced Knowledge for Buildings, Online Learning Designer, Program Facilitator, and Curriculum Developer/Instructor for Building Energy and Resource Management, focusing on training in resource conservation. As the Consultant and Owner of Centrepoint Sustainable Design Services, Steven serves as a certified Sustainable Building Advisor and an educator. Previous roles include Lead Instructor for the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program and Construction Manager for significant federal infrastructure projects in challenging environments. Education credentials encompass certifications and diplomas in sustainable building practices, facilitation, and teaching from various reputable institutions, contributing to a robust foundation in energy-efficient design and instruction.
