Sarah Schmoller

Sarah Schmoller is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI Content Generation at Dow Jones, where Sarah has played a pivotal role since August 2020, leading development on projects that account for 90% of content on MarketWatch. Initially hired as the first engineer in the newly-formed team, Sarah has been involved in determining system architecture and writing software. Prior to Dow Jones, Sarah served as an NLG Engineer at Xandra, Inc., where Sarah developed a prototype scriptwriting assistant using GPT-2 for interactive narrative experiences. Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Linguistics from the University of Minnesota and is a recipient of the International Baccalaureate Diploma from Minnetonka High School.
