Debra L. Dial is the Senior Vice President and Controller of AT&T Inc., a global telecommunications and media company, a role she has held since January 2016. Previously Dial served as Vice President of Finance for AT&T Capital Management with responsibility for capital allocation, budgeting and governance over an annual spend of $20 billion, and as CFO for the AT&T Chief Information and Technology Officers. Prior to joining AT&T in December 1996, Dial spent ten years at KPMG in their audit practice.

Dial serves on the Committee on Corporate Reporting, a forum of Fortune 100 Controllers which reviews and responds to proposed regulations issued by regulators such as the SEC and FASB. Dial serves on the Dallas American Heart Association Executive Leadership Team for Go Red initiative.

Dial is a senior finance executive with over 25 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting policy, and capital allocation with a Fortune 10 global telecommunications and media company. Dial brings a broad perspective and strategic insights through her extensive experience in driving sizeable merger integration; leading successful cost transformation; executing M&A valuation; overseeing SEC reporting financial policy and governance; focusing on enterprise risk management, and supporting investor relations — all of which are key areas of focus for the Company.
