Dinesh Patel

Dinesh Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dinesh most recently served as the Director of Technology at Downing LLP, where they played a crucial role in the multi-year digital transformation of the investment firm. Prior to that, Dinesh worked as the Head of Enterprise UXP Solutions at Paratus AMC, focusing on the design and functional evolution of their cloud-based financial platform. Dinesh also co-founded Funding Empire, where they served as the Head of Architecture & Development, overseeing all aspects of the online marketplace lender's platform design, development, and delivery. Dinesh has also held positions at Gocompare.com, Agencyport Software, WRVS, PHS Group Ltd, Scottish and Southern Energy, and Atlantic, with roles ranging from Solutions Architect to Senior Software Developer.

Dinesh Patel started their education at Fitzalan High School from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained their A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Dinesh then attended the University of South Wales from 1996 to 2000, where they completed their BA (Hons) degree in Business Information Management. Later, from 2002 to 2003, they studied Advanced Relational Database Management at The Open University. In 2014, Dinesh obtained a certification in Enterprise and Solution Architecture (Intermediate) from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
