Downstream
Jon Alford has extensive work experience in the marketing and events industry. Jon is currently the Director of Studio Operations at Downstream, a role they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Account Director and Account Manager at Downstream from January 2017 to May 2022. Jon also served as a Project Manager at Downstream from September 2015 to January 2017, where they were responsible for managing project teams, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Before joining Downstream, Jon worked at George P Johnson Experience Marketing from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they held various roles including Program Manager, Project Manager, Project Manager for the IBM Account, Logistics Manager for the IBM Account, and Event Services Specialist for the IBM Account. Their responsibilities included overseeing the planning and execution of marketing events, managing project budgets, collaborating with multiple agency partners, and providing client support at events. Jon was also involved in B2C marketing campaigns for clients such as BlackBerry, Puma, and Cisco during their time as an intern/contractor.
Jon Alford attended The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Their major was in Marketing, and they also pursued a minor in Political Science.
