Betsy Brennan is a seasoned leader currently serving as President & CEO of Downtown San Diego Partnership since February 2018. Prior to this role, Betsy held the position of Vice President for Development and Stewardship at Coastal Community Foundation of SC from January 2017 to February 2018. Betsy's experience encompasses executive leadership as the Executive Director of Incline Village Community Hospital Foundation and critical staff roles at California Polytechnic State University and San Diego State University, supporting university presidents. Additionally, Betsy's background includes significant public service as Chief of Staff for the City Council President of San Diego and legislative work as a Clerk for the Energy and Commerce Committee at the U.S. House of Representatives. Betsy holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish & International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of Richmond.
