Andrew began their career at Caterpillar Financial as a Systems Analyst, where they developed C++ integration programs and pioneered a skunkworks Java web development group. Andrew then joined Vivísimo as a Senior Application Engineer, witnessing the company's growth and eventual acquisition by IBM. At Autodesk, Andrew worked as a Software Development Manager, leading a team and introducing Agile practices. Andrew's next role was at FOREVER™, where they served as the Web Team Lead, overseeing the development of a permanent photo sharing service. Andrew then joined Bossa Nova Robotics as the Director of Product Development, where they implemented Agile practices and transformed the company into a scalable product company. Currently, Andrew works at Doximity as a Senior Software Engineer - Tech Lead.
Andrew Cox obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from James Madison University from 1996 to 2001. Prior to their college education, they attended Midlothian High School from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Andrew also obtained the Scrum Certified Product Owner (SCPO) certification from ScrumAlliance in March 2011.
