Joshua Morris has a diverse work experience in various roles related to quality management. Joshua started their career as the Director of Quality at Target Steel in 2009 and held this role until 2014. During this time, they served as the Technical Service Representative for customer issues, performed failure analysis on failing parts, and managed the quality management system based on ISO standards.
In 2012, Joshua established their own consulting company, Morjo Consulting, LLC. As the owner, they built and developed quality management systems for multiple companies in various industries such as automotive, steel service centers, lawn and garden equipment, and more. Joshua also provided failure analysis services for several OEMs and served as a quality manager for small companies without dedicated resources.
Joshua joined Thyssen Krupp North America in 2014 as the Regional Director of Quality. In this role, they acted as the technical representative for customer complaints, provided failure analysis reports, and managed quality system aspects for Ken-Mac Metals and ThyssenKrupp Steel Services.
In 2015, Joshua joined Comprehensive Logistics Co., Inc. as the Plant Manager, overseeing operations. Later, they became the Director of Operations for the Ford Business Unit. However, their tenure at this company ended in November 2021.
Most recently, in 2019, Joshua became the Chief Executive Officer of Detroit Quality Staffing, where they are currently employed.
Joshua Morris holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Michigan State University, which they pursued from 2017 to 2019. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Materials Science from Wayne State University, from 2012 to 2014. Joshua also holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Wayne State University, obtained between 2009 and 2012. Their earliest educational achievement is a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Michigan State University, which they earned from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their academic degrees, Joshua has obtained various certifications related to auditing, core tools, and quality management systems, such as Certified Internal Auditor IATF 16949, Core Tools Certified, Lead Auditor: ISO 14001 and 9001, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
