Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Amit is the Founder and CEO of Dragonfruit AI, which provides video AI solutions for the retail industry. Prior to this, they served as the President of IIT Delhi Alumni Association, North America for over a decade. Amit also worked as a Product Lead at Nextdoor, where they were responsible for growth and engagement initiatives. Before that, they were the Founder and CEO of Trimian, a company that built community networks and companion apps. Amit has also worked as an Advisor at infoAnalytica, Inc., VP and GM at Yahoo Small Business, and Founder and CEO of Lexity (acquired by Yahoo!). Amit has also held leadership roles at Dapper and Yahoo! Search, where they played a key role in developing and implementing innovative strategies and products. Throughout their career, Amit has demonstrated their expertise in product management, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Amit Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Amit attended this institution from 1994 to 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Amit Kumar studied at this university from 1998 to 2000.
