Ganesh Rao

Ganesh Rao is an experienced professional in digital integrated circuit design, currently serving as the Group Leader for the Digital IC Design and Verification Group at Draper since January 2011. Rao has led various teams, growing the department to over 40 members, and has been instrumental in managing FPGA and ASIC design projects. Prior to Draper, Rao held positions at Vitesse Semiconductor, Aware, Inc., Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and North Carolina State University, contributing to significant projects including IEEE 1588 Precision Timestamping IP blocks, ADSL modem components, and sensor electronics for the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. Rao holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, completed in 1994.
