Hector Grande

Hector Grande is an experienced Materials Engineer and Electronics Packaging Engineer at Draper, leading teams to develop custom hermetic assembly solutions for advanced integrated circuits since May 2022. Prior to this role, Hector served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Boston University, specializing in materials for energy sustainability and exploring characteristics of solid oxide fuel cells. Early career experience includes co-op positions at Draper, Shire, and UMass Amherst, where research focused on material testing, engineering processes, and zeolite cluster optimization. Hector holds a Master of Science in Materials Science from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by a minor in Materials Science & Engineering.
