Jason Martel

Jason Martel is a Systems Integration and Test Engineer at Draper, starting in November 2023. Prior experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Hologic, Inc. where Jason designed a custom snap-fit attachment for a fluoroscopy device using SolidWorks and 3D printing. At the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Jason served as an Engineering Course Assistant for Mechanics of Solids and Computer-Aided Machine Design, in addition to working as a Lab Monitor. Jason also managed a multidisciplinary project for the Harvard Undergraduate Robotics Club, focusing on a robotic device aimed at assisting stroke patients, which received an honorable mention in the 2021 DEBUT Challenge. Earlier internships include a role at Teradyne, where Jason designed solutions for an industrial robotic system, and experience working in customer service at Indian Ridge Country Club and Sudbury Taylor Rental. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University, earned in May 2023.
