Kevin Burns

Kevin Burns is an accomplished information security leader with extensive experience in safeguarding systems and data. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Draper since January 2016, Kevin previously held the position of Chief Security Officer at MassIT, where efforts focused on enhancing the security framework for Massachusetts state systems. Prior roles include Director of the Office of Internal Control & Security at the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, where responsibilities included internal investigations and oversight of information security systems. Kevin's career in security began with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue as an Internal Affairs Investigator, further solidifying expertise in security audits and compliance. An alumni of Merrimack College, Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management.
