Violet Finley

Violet Finley is a Biomedical Engineer at Draper Laboratory since December 2011, focusing on testing microfluidic devices for medical applications. Previously, at Tufts University, Violet served as a Graduate Research Assistant, where research included coaxial electrospinning of polymers and the effects of various loading and growth factor treatments on mouse tendon progenitor cells. Additional experience includes tutoring at Leasure Hall Tutoring Center and serving as a Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University. Early roles at Draper Laboratory involved developing a Cerebral Palsy walking aid and creating parts for the Trident Mk-6 Life Extension program. Violet holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
