Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee bin Wan Ariffin (“Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee”) holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and has attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School. Additionally, he was awarded the Honorary Fellowship by the Institution of Chemical Engineers, United Kingdom.

Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee started his career in Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”) in 1983 with various executive positions and retired from the position of President & Group Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS in June 2020, after a 37-year tenure at the national oil company. While there, he was appointed as Chairman of the National Trust Fund, which was set up in 1988 to ensure optimal use of Malaysia’s natural resources while benefitting the nation and its future generations. Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee was also appointed as a council member at the East Coast Economic Region Development Council and the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority.
