Vito Piserchia is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as Principal Cyber Security Engineer and Cyber Security Specialist at Dreamlab Technologies since April 2010, Vito focuses on research and development in Big Data and Fast Data solutions for Security Operations Centers. Vito's previous positions include Senior Security and Software Engineer, where responsibilities involved lawful interception in mobile environments, and Security & Software Engineer, concentrating on open-source solutions and network analysis. As a co-founder and XML specialist at metatype, Vito champions innovation and open standards, particularly in the realms of academic publishing and open-source software solutions. Vito's earlier experience includes system architecture at Medhiartis srl and system administration at Società Italiana di Fisica, complemented by a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
