Teaching Artist at DreamYard Project

Elizabeth L. is an experienced Teaching Artist currently working with DreamYard Project and Community-Word Project since 2014, while also pursuing a career as a self-employed writer since 2011. From 2014 to 2015, Elizabeth co-founded and co-edited Sixpenny Magazine, which featured illustrated short stories by both established and emerging writers. Previous teaching roles include a summer teaching position at GO Project and a Creative Writing Teacher at Washington Heights Summer Camp. Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from City, University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing from New York University. Additional experience includes serving as a Program Coordinator at Cicatelli Associates, Inc. and working as a teacher at the NYC Department of Education.
