Hernan Villalobos has a diverse range of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Hernan started their career at FMC Technologies as a Project Engineer from 1997 to 1999. Hernan then worked at Wood Group as a Project Manager from 2005 to 2007, where they were responsible for interfacing with external customers and providing technical and sales support.
After that, Hernan joined Dresser, Inc. in 2000, where they held various roles including Regional Manager for Latin America and Director of Sales for the IS Division for the Latin America region. In these positions, they were responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies, supporting representatives, and providing technical and commercial support to customers.
In 2012, Hernan joined GE Oil & Gas as a Senior Sales Manager for the NAM Region, and later as the LATAM Operations Manager for Lufkin Artificial Lift Equipment. In these roles, they were accountable for establishing and developing revenues, coordinating project pursuits, and defining sales objectives.
Most recently, Hernan worked at Baker Hughes from 2017 to 2021 as the Aftermarket & MRO Parts Leader. In this position, they led a profit and loss balance, drove global growth campaigns, and provided support for the expansion of the global commercial capabilities.
Currently, Hernan holds the position of Global Sales Director at Dresser Utility Solutions, and is set to become the Vice President of Sales in 2024.
Hernan Villalobos studied Industrial Engineering at Universidad del Zulia from 1987 to 1993, earning a B.S. degree in Engineering.
