Daniel Svärd

Daniel Svärd is a seasoned executive in the gaming and technology sectors, currently serving as Co-Chief Executive Officer at DREST since February 2024 and holding board member positions at Stockholm Basket, Opsy, and Hammarby Basket. With extensive experience at King from 2013 to 2022, Daniel led the Candy Crush Soda Saga as GM and was instrumental in various roles including VP of Head of Studio, overseeing operations for multiple popular gaming titles. Prior to this, Daniel held significant positions at Betfair and bwin, focusing on product strategy and development in eCommerce and online poker. Daniel's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and additional leadership training.
