Jessica Gutierrez

Jessica Gutierrez is a Software Engineer who has experience in various roles and industries. Jessica currently works at Droit, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Eden Health from 2021 to 2022 as a Backend Software Engineer. In this role, they implemented new endpoint handlers and middleware for vaccine processing and validation and ensured data was exposed in a HIPAA compliant manner for analysis. Jessica also has experience as an IT Technical Assistant at Teachers' Retirement System of the City of New York from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they aggregated data for decision making, devised and executed policies and procedures for company-owned hardware, and conducted training workshops for newly deployed software. Jessica also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at the same company, where they resolved pension file errors and reduced developer load by creating an ASP.NET MVC web application.

Jessica has additional experience as a Software Engineer Intern at DURO UAS in 2018, where they refined software for a company-tailored circuit board with sensors. Jessica also worked as an Assistant Manager at Gymboree in 2017, where they increased customer satisfaction and reduced store turnover. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Lead at Janie & Jack from 2016 to 2017, where they opened and closed the store and motivated employees to meet sales goals.

Jessica's early career includes experience as a Teacher Assistant at Bronx Museum of the Arts in 2015, where they assisted in teaching user design basics and supervised iteration tests for student games. Jessica also worked as a College Assistant at CUNY Hostos Community College in 2015, where they managed inventory, supervised events, and scheduled employee shifts.

Jessica Gutierrez's education history includes obtaining an Associate's degree in Game Design from CUNY Hostos Community College from 2014 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Hunter College from 2016 to 2019.
