Richard is currently the Vice President of Sales Non Terrestrial Networks at Druid Software, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, Richard worked at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. from 2015 to 2023, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and later as the Vice President of Market Development. At Comtech, they played a crucial role in developing strategic relationships and driving the company's success in the market. Before Comtech, Richard held various positions at Ericsson Inc., starting in 1996. Richard served as the Director of Business Development, where they focused on growing Ericsson's business in unserved or underserved communities globally. Richard also held roles as a Business Manager, Director of Sourcing, Sourcing Manager, and Strategic Purchaser at Ericsson. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to driving growth and success in the telecommunications industry.
Richard Swardh earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Logistics from Linnaeus University, which they attended from 1993 to 1995. Richard also obtained a Sales Executive certification in SPIN - Sales argumentation & Selling to international customers/partners from Huthwaite International in 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Linnaeus University, which they pursued from 1990 to 1993.
