Dave Johnston

Dave Johnston has extensive experience in aviation maintenance, currently serving as a Senior Aviation Maintenance Technician at Drummond Company, Inc. since February 2005, overseeing the maintenance of three Gulfstream GIV aircraft. Previously, Dave worked as Chief Inspector and Aircraft Mechanic at Premiere Aviation Group, where responsibilities included the maintenance of various general aviation aircraft. Other roles include Aircraft Mechanic/Inspector positions at Air Net Systems and Birmingham Aviation Services, as well as Director of Maintenance at Sunshine Air Incorporated, overseeing comprehensive maintenance of multiple aircraft. Dave has held additional roles at AMR Combs/Signature Flight Support and DynCorp International, focusing on both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a wide range of aircraft types. Educational qualifications include an Airframe and Powerplant License from Alabama Aviation and Technical College, complemented by various training at FlightSafety International and other institutions.
