Oliver Verran is a quantitative researcher currently working at DRW since January 2024. Prior to this role, Oliver served as a quantitative trader at Method Investments & Advisory Ltd from September 2021 to December 2023 and held a position as a quantitative researcher during a garden leave at Citadel Securities from October 2018 to August 2021. Oliver's career began as a junior quantitative trader at TransMarket Group, L.L.C. from July 2016 to March 2018, and included an internship in relative value arbitrage at the same company in July 2015. Oliver also contributed as president of the Oxford University Invariant Society from April 2014 to March 2015 and completed an NIHR research methods internship at the Health Economics Research Centre, University of Oxford in the summer of 2014. Oliver holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford (2015-2016) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the same institution (2012-2015), preceded by a high school education focused on mathematics, physics, and chemistry at Ilford County High School (2010-2012).
