Amelia White

Amelia White is a seasoned data scientist at Dstillery since May 2015 and a Fellow at Insight Data Science since January 2015. Amelia has a strong academic background, holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Biology from Rutgers University and a Master's in Computer Science and Bachelor's in Psychology from New York University. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at New York University, where Amelia developed the DevStaR system for high-throughput image data analysis, and as a Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University, instructing non-computer science majors in programming. Additional experience includes research roles focused on image analysis and a position as a lab technician for the human genome project at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute.
