Dr. Rainer Kiefer

Dr. Rainer Kiefer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the logistics and e-commerce sectors. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at DSV Contract Logistics since May 2025, Dr. Kiefer previously held several key leadership roles at DB Schenker from 2016 to April 2025, including Executive Vice President Global Head of Commercial and Global Head of Sales. Prior to that, Dr. Kiefer was the Chief Executive Officer at CYBERPORT from 2013 to 2016 and served as Managing Director at BURDA CONSUMER TECH from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Kiefer began a career in consultancy with McKinsey & Company from 2001 to 2011, achieving the position of Junior Partner. Educational credentials include studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, The London School of Economics and Political Science, London Business School, and the European University Institute.
