Michael Rivet

Michael Rivet is an experienced leader in renewable energy development, currently serving as Director of Renewable Energy Development at DTE Energy since November 2017. Rivet oversees the development of wind and solar projects aimed at generating over 15,000 MW by 2042. Previously, Rivet managed DTE's Late-Stage Development team and contributed to the establishment of the commercial renewable energy team as a Senior Strategist. Rivet's earlier experience includes a Program Manager role at the Central Intelligence Agency, where leadership spanned engineering project management and technology development. Rivet holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
