Terry Buford

Terry Buford is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in cloud security and systems protection. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at DTE Energy since September 2020, Terry previously held roles as Manager of Cyber Security Engineering and Cyber Security Engineer Team Lead at Secure-24, where responsibilities included monitoring for security gaps, designing solutions, and leading teams in risk management and troubleshooting. Earlier experience includes significant roles at Ford Motor Company, Flagstar Bank, Meritor Automotive, and Electronic Data Systems, demonstrating a strong background in endpoint operations, IT security, and data protection. Terry holds an A.A.S degree in computer science from Wayne County Community College, and has further education from Lawrence Technological University.
