Tapan Patel

Tapan Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Tapan started their career as a Network Engineer Intern at Verizon Wireless in 2005 and then worked as a Software Developer Co-op/Intern at Texas Instruments later that year. In 2006, they joined AT&T Services Inc. as a Software Engineer and stayed there until mid-2007. Tapan then joined Cisco Systems Inc. in 2007 as a Software Engineer II and was promoted to Software Engineer III in 2009. After working at Cisco for four years, they moved to FireEye, Inc. in 2011 as a Sr. Software QA Automation Engineer. Tapan gradually grew within the company, taking on roles such as Staff Software QA Automation Engineer, Sr. Staff Software QA Automation Engineer, and finally Principal Software QA Automation Engineer. Tapan's most recent position is at DTEX Systems, where they have been serving as the Manager of Software QA Engineering & Automation since June 2020.

Tapan Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science at Amravati University from 1999 to 2003. Tapan later pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2004 to 2007.
