Jakob Eg Larsen is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU Compute) since May 2005, where Jakob Eg leads the Mobile Informatics and Personal Data Lab and serves on the committee for the Master of Science in Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Jakob co-founded the Copenhagen Chapter of The Quantified Self in March 2012, where Jakob Eg functions as Head. Jakob has experience as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University in 2012, working with the Human-Sciences and Technologies Advanced Research Institute (H-STAR). Previous professional experience includes serving as a Project Manager and Consultant at IBM from 1992 to 1999. Jakob holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from DTU (2000-2004) and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Københavns Universitet (1991-1999).
