Tommy Ahlers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital, education, and government. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Giant Ventures since August 2024 and Chairman of CONCITO since April 2024, Ahlers is also a Founding Partner at Look Up Ventures and an Adjunct Professor at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Previously, Ahlers held significant political roles as a Member of Folketinget for Venstre from June 2019 to November 2021 and as Minister for Higher Education and Science from May 2018 to June 2019. Ahlers has a background in business, having served as Chairman and investor for Workday Peakon Employee Voice and as an angel investor in Thenewblack ApS. Prior experience includes a tenure as VP Product, Social and CEO at Citrix from May 2010 to July 2015. Ahlers holds a Master of Science in Law from the University of Copenhagen, earned between 1996 and 2001.
