Dominic Elliott

Executive Dean at Dublin City University

Dominic Elliott is the Executive Dean of Dublin City University Business School, a position held since January 2023, and serves as a Board Member for the Centre for Engineering, Education and Development since June 2020. Elliott is also the Dean of the School of Media, Culture and Society at the University of West of Scotland since July 2018, and previously held the role of Dean of Business and Creative Industries at the University of the West of Scotland from April 2019 to January 2023. Additional significant roles include Board Member at The Gaiety Theatre and Interim Crisis Management Consultant at the University of Bristol in 2018. Elliott has extensive experience in higher education, previously serving as Head of School of the Arts at the University of Liverpool from 2002 to 2017 and in various capacities at several institutions, including Principal Lecturer at Leicester Polytechnic and De Montfort University. Elliott holds a PhD in Crisis Management from Durham University and has completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme. Academic qualifications also include an MBA from Leicester Polytechnic and a BA in History from the University of Warwick.
