Christy Chalfant serves as the School Principal at Dublin Unified School District since July 2024, building upon a robust career in educational leadership that includes previous principal roles at Campbell Union School District (July 2022 - June 2024) and Santa Clara Unified School District (July 2018 - June 2022). Prior to these positions, Christy held the role of Assistant Principal at Las Lomitas School District from July 2015 to June 2018 and served as a Teacher/Teacher Leader at Santa Clara Unified School District from March 2003 to June 2015. Additionally, Christy was selected for the inaugural SCCOE STEAM Certification Program, collaborating with educators to develop innovative curriculum in partnership with the Smithsonian Museum. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University and a Reading Recovery Certification from St. Mary's College of California.

The Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) serves over 12,300 students, from preschool through adult education, in a diverse suburban environment. Dublin High School is renowned for its signature programs, including the Engineering Academy, which prepares students to succeed in a postsecondary engineering program; the Biomedical Academy, which prepares students for a post-secondary education in biomedical sciences; and the Culinary Academy which prepares students for a post-secondary education in the culinary arts.
