Emily Laree Alvelo

Emily LaRee Alvelo has extensive experience in talent acquisition and higher education administration. Currently, Emily serves as a Global Talent Acquisition Operations Associate Partner at Duck Creek Technologies, with previous roles including Associate Manager and Senior Analyst in the same field. Prior to this, Emily worked as a recruiter at City Staffing and held several key positions at Roosevelt University, including Interim Senior Director of Engagement, Equity, and Inclusion. Emily's background in real estate includes roles as a broker at Fulton Grace Realty and Real Living City Residential. Additionally, Emily has significant experience in residential life and student involvement through various positions at institutions such as the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Miami. Emily holds an Ed.S. in Social Justice Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago, and a BA in Theatre and Psychology from Smith College.
