Thais Loizaga is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the operations of LATAM businesses. Serving as the Assistant Controller for Duferco since October 2014, Thais is responsible for formulating internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices, as well as reviewing accounting information to identify and resolve discrepancies. Prior experience includes roles as a Buyer at Becton Dickinson and a Leasing Agent at The Lynd Company, alongside serving as an Enrollment Counselor at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Thais holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, both from San Ignacio Business School Miami.
