David Ward

David Ward possesses extensive experience in the water infrastructure sector, currently serving as General Manager 3 Waters & Transition at Dunedin City Council since June 2022. Prior to this role, David held various senior positions at Watercare Services Limited from February 2011 to June 2022, including Head of Operations Excellence and Head of Plan & Design, contributing significantly to Watercare's 40:20:20 vision aimed at reducing carbon emissions and improving health and safety. Earlier career highlights include roles as Water Sector Manager at Aurecon, Water Executive at PB New Zealand, and Group Manager at MWH, among others. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Liverpool John Moores University.
