Jake Joo

Jake Joo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the materials science and engineering fields. Currently serving as the Global R&D Director for Emerging Technologies at DuPont, Jake Joo has led cross-business teams and managed stakeholder relationships to drive business impact and innovation. Previous roles include Site Leader and Senior Technical Manager at DuPont, as well as Lead R&D Manager at Dow, where Jake Joo focused on optoelectronics and next-generation technologies. Jake Joo has also contributed strategically to the Advanced Photonics Coalition as a Board Member. With a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Jake Joo has a solid academic foundation complemented by a minor in Financial Management from MIT Sloan School of Management.
