Marty DeGroot is an experienced leader in research and development within the chemical industry, currently serving as Director of Global Technology at DuPont since June 2019. Previously, Marty held various roles at The Dow Chemical Company from December 2006 to June 2019, including R&D Director and Senior R&D Manager, overseeing international teams and managing commercialization of new technologies. Earlier experience includes significant research contributions as a NSERC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UC Berkeley and as a Senior Chemist focusing on catalysis and materials development. Marty holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Western University.
