Senior Scientist at DuPont

Mayuri Porwal, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist on the Emerging Technologies Team at DuPont, starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, Mayuri served as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2018 to June 2023, focusing on polymer research under Professor Frank Bates and materials processing. Mayuri also co-taught a freshman seminar on sustainability with Professor Theresa Reineke. Previous experiences include roles as a Summer Research Intern at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the Indian Institute of Science, as well as an intern with the UDCT Alumni Association. Mayuri holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor of Technology in Polymer Engineering and Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology.
