David Evans has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. David started their career as a System Analyst II at United States Steel Corporation in 2006, where they were responsible for managing Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA Suite environment. David then worked at PNC as a Software Engineer, primarily focused on implementing and deploying Oracle WebLogic Platform. Later, they joined Coventry Health Care as a Systems Engineer, and then moved to PPG Industries as a System Analyst. In 2015, David joined Duquesne Light Company as an Infrastructure Engineer IV, where they administered RedHat Linux environment and developed a messaging system using Python and Apache Kafka. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Architect at Duquesne Light Company.
David Evans obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Duquesne University from 2004 to 2007. In September 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
