Michael Muto

Michael Muto serves as the Director of Information Security and Principal Information Security Engineer at Duquesne University since November 2008, focusing on developing, administering, and maintaining cybersecurity initiatives. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at the same institution. Experience includes a role as Systems Architect/Senior Systems Administrator with expertise in Active Directory design, Office 365 email architecture, and Identity Access Management. Michael is also the leader of the Pittsburgh VMware User Group, coordinating meetings and fostering vendor relationships. Prior to these roles, experience includes positions as a Network/Systems Administrator at Babst, Calland, Clements, & Zomnir, and Network Administrator at CoManage Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Leadership & Information Technology from Duquesne University, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, and certifications from Pittsburgh Technical College.
