Mauricio Giamei Galera is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in indirect tax compliance and strategy. Currently serving as Sr. Tax Manager at The Duracell Company since February 2023, Mauricio previously held several senior roles at Nestlé, including Tax Strategy Senior Manager and various positions focused on indirect tax compliance and planning. Mauricio's background also includes experience as a Senior Consultant in indirect tax at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and a trainee at Demarest e Almeida Advogados. Mauricio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado.
