Matthias Daeseleire, CFA has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Matthias began their career as a Clients & Markets Research Analyst at Deloitte Belgium in August 2013 and stayed there until July 2014. Matthias then moved on to J.P. Morgan, where they took on the role of Hedge Fund Analyst from September 2014 to September 2016. Following that, they transitioned to the role of Equity Derivatives at the same company, where they worked from September 2016 to September 2019. Currently, they are employed as a Crude Oil Trader at DV Trading LLC from September 2019 onwards. Through these experiences, Daeseleire has developed a strong understanding of various aspects of finance, including research, analysis, and trading.
Matthias Daeseleire, CFA, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Commercial Engineering from Ghent University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Matthias then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Business (MIB) from Grenoble Ecole de Management, completing it between 2012 and 2013. Prior to their master's degrees, they attended Ghent University from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Commercial Engineering.
In terms of additional certifications, Matthias obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2018. Matthias also acquired a certification in Financial Modelling from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in January 2019.
