Laura Shepherd

Laura Shepherd is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and education. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Dwolla since October 2019, Laura previously held the position of Adjunct Professor at Drake University, teaching Software Engineering and developing curriculum focused on Git, automated testing, agile methodology, and API/web development. Prior experience includes roles at Pariveda Solutions, where Laura worked on diverse projects such as web-app platform development and machine learning model productionalization. Earlier work involved bioinformatics research at the University of Iowa and an internship at Athena GTX. Laura holds a degree in Electrical Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering from the University of Iowa.
