David Gogel

David Gogel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the blockchain and fintech sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at dYdX since May 2025, David is also the Founder and CEO of GogelX LLC, a consultancy focused on blockchain and fintech startups. With a strong academic background that includes an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in International Studies and Business from the University of Pennsylvania, David has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Strategy & Operations and Head of Growth at dYdX Foundation, and Senior Fellow at The Wharton School’s Blockchain & Digital Asset Project. David has contributed to significant industry initiatives, including collaborations with the World Economic Forum on Decentralized Finance and advisorship roles for various technology startups.
