Arun started their career in 1988 as a Developer and Database Administrator at the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Arun then moved on to work at Manulife as a Co-ordinator, System Integration and Databases, where they led the deployment of Microsoft SQL Service as the enterprise database technology.
In 2000, Arun joined Nightingale Informatix and Medcomsoft as the Director of Information Technology. Arun provided executive and technical leadership in the Product Development and Implementation Services, contributing to the company's expansion into the Australian healthcare market.
In 2002, Arun started working at Lifelabs Medical Laboratory Services (formerly MDS Diagnostic Services). Arun held the position of Director, Application and Technology Services and managed various innovative system implementations with budgets averaging $4 million per annum.
Arun then joined Dynacare in 2012, where they undertook the role of Managing Director, Digital Solution and Integration Services. In this role, they built and managed a department comprised of 20 technical and project staff, as well as an annual budget of $7 million. Arun successfully integrated several acquired businesses, implemented the Information Technology digital strategy, and deployed customer-facing systems.
In 2017, Arun was promoted to Chief Information Officer and Vice President of IT at Dynacare, where they continue to play a key role in developing and implementing the company's IT strategy.
