Vishakha Thakurdwarkar

Vishakha Thakurdwarkar is a dedicated software engineer at Dynamic Map Platform North America since July 2021, focusing on the development of high-definition maps for advanced driver assistance and autonomous vehicles, with current efforts on tools for processing Lidar data of urban roads in the USA. Previously, Vishakha interned at Rival (by Marakana) in 2020, where automated detection of American Football was achieved through deep learning and extensive research on deep convolutional neural networks. Additionally, from August 2016 to March 2019, Vishakha served as an engineer at L&T Technology Services Limited, contributing to various computer vision applications, including 3D reconstruction and topology analysis of abrasive material surfaces. Early experience includes an internship at the Geological Survey of India in 2015, focusing on hyper-spectral image analysis for mineral detection. Vishakha holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from Texas A&M University (2019-2021), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (2012-2016).
